A Cape

While making this, I folded back the front facings and found they were basically lapels. I prefer this look to the way it is supposed to be. This makes me think that I should modify the pattern. As it is actually now a blazer without arms, I decided to add it to my neglected menswear collection (items: 2). I’m pretty sure that the three musketeers wore  something like this too.The question I am asking now is what buttons to use? Brassy military or something less bold?So yes. In conclusion playing about with stuff results in interesting new stuff.

There now follows some photos of me posing, so that should be good for a laugh if nothing else.

  1. Looks good! And it’s so military in style it would be silly not to use a military button! Maybe a black one instead of brass though?

    • Thanks. I saw one in Vogue that had a buckle as a fastener that looked really good. Going shopping for buttons tomorrow.
